The roads in Thailand are surprisingly good most everywhere. Too bad so many drivers seem to be maniacs.
Radiant Blue
The skies over Bangkok are radiantly blue this morning. Is it the first whisper of winter? Those cool season days when they temperatures sometimes actually go down so much that it feels cool? We’ll see.
The Anti Democracy Guys
Recently I went to look at those PAD people who are camped out at government house. What a zoo. Mostly elderly people, and the types who wear lots of amulets. They were friendly enough. One woman was bleating hysterically into a speaker about Somchai, the new prime minister. They have security guards at the "entrance" to their area. Thugs with tattoos. There’s no police to be seen anywhere at all. Altogether these PAD’s are not a very inspiring lot.
Mussolini
I am sure that Sondhi L, the leader of the fascist mob at Government house in Bangkok is the reincarnation of Mussolini. Same pudgy body, same screaming rethoric. Plus ca change, plus c’est la meme chose.
